With more than 300 stores in the United States, Sbarro is also a globally-recognizable pizza icon, with locations in 28 countries. And according to a recently submitted plan review, its next stop here in Florida is at 13750 Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami Beach, near the intersection with Highland Drive.
Sbarro offers a selection of pizzas both whole and by-the-slice in varieties like NY 4-Cheese White, NY Pepperoni, and NY Supremo. In familiar pizzeria fashion, the chain has offered individual-size stromboli in varieties like Spinach and Pepperoni, Sausage & Bacon. Sbarro’s menus have also featured pasta dishes like Baked Ziti, Spaghetti with Meatballs, and Chicken Parmesan.
The paperwork was submitted by Vivaria Florida LLC, behind which is owner Javier Gavilan. What Now reached out to Gavilan to inquire about a North Miami Sbarro location. Gavilan declined to make any immediate statement. What Now is awaiting further information.
The location is in a building situated near local guitar shop The Guitar Nook. Across Biscayne Boulevard, along Highland Drive, is a Kentucky Fried Chicken location.
