“SMASHING SOON!!” reads a storefront captured in a video posted on by The Broward Scene this week.

“Super excited for the famous viral smash burgers, they have been a huge hit at their new location in Miami Dade,” says the post. “No opening date set I believe, but I’ll keep you updated.”

The restaurant first launched in Wynwood, “with lines out the door and a social media presence that fueled the fire,” says coverage by the Miami New Times. “By the November 2024, the spot had a spot at the Kaseya Center in downtown Miami, and a second location open in Little Havana on Calle Ocho. Then, in May of this year, the team expanded to Coral Gables before surprising fans with a leap to New York City.”

With additional locations still in the works the South Florida market, news of Skinny Louie’s first Broward location can now be solidly confirmed. An opening date is still to come, but when it comes, the smashburger brand’s first location will be launching at 139 S Compass Way in Dania Beach.

The new location will join Dania Beach shopping center Dania Pointe, taking its place on a restaurant roster that includes everything from Chipotle Mexican Grill and Outback Steakhouse, to Cooper’s Hawk and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.
