Jamil Hunter has always been passionate about two things in life: fitness and hospitality. Growing up, he watched his father and uncles work in the industry, helping them during the summer months and learning the tools of the hospitality trade. Hunter was also an athlete, playing football, competing in track, and boxing.
Now Hunter is combining both passions into one venture when he opens Smoothie Garden this spring.
The shop, located at 7994 Riviera Boulevard in Miramar, will offer not only smoothies, but an entire menu of healthful items geared to everyone, in a shop filled with colorful murals depicting a tropical garden.
Hunter tells What Now Miami that Smoothie Garden wants to be a one-stop shop for mindful eating. “We welcome gym people, young people, seniors. We want to help anyone with delicious, nutritious food,” he adds.
Smoothie Garden will not only sell smoothies, healthy snacks, salads, wraps, and sandwiches, but also encourages people to join in a wellness journey with meal plans created in collaboration with nutritionists. Smoothie Garden also offers catering services, including custom charcuterie boards — in case you feel like celebrating your newfound passion of healthful eating.
