With more than 1,170 locations, Smoothie King is one of the key players in the smoothie space, with a longstanding reputation (the chain was founded in 1973). The smoothie chain has dozens of locations in South Florida, and it’s preparing to open another one, this time in Greenacres.
The new Smoothie King will launch at 3899 Jog Road in Greenacres Plaza, a shopping center on the northwest corner of the intersection with Lake Worth Road.
The smoothie chain offers a menu of cold drinks in a variety of categories: “Stay Slim” flavors like Greek Yogurt Strawberry Blueberry (Strawberries, Blueberries, Greek Nonfat Yogurt, Apple Blueberry Juice Blend, Pear Juice Blend, Nonfat Milk, Protein Blend, Fiber Blend Enhancer), “Be Well” flavors like Apple Kiwi Kale (Organic Kale, Bananas, Apple Juice, Kiwi Apple Juice Blend, Electrolyte Blend), and “Take a Break” flavors like Banana Boat (Bananas, Vanilla Frozen Yogurt, Dairy Whey Blend, Turbinado).
Smoothies “For Kids” include the Apple Kiwi Bunga (Apple Juice, Bananas, Kiwi Apple Juice Blend, Organic Kale, Electrolyte Mix, Kids Multivitamin) and the Berry Interesting (Strawberries, Raspberries, Apple Blueberry Juice Blend, Kids Multivitamin).
“We are very excited to finally bring Smoothie King to the Palm Beach area,” Jeff Brown, a representative of Smoothie King told What Now. “Greenacres is the ideal choice for this store because of the community and neighborhood. We want to set deep roots and really get to know our neighbors.”
