With eleven locations here in South Florida, local healthy chain the Smoothie Spot is continuing to grow its footprint. A new location is currently in the works at 4850 NW 117th Place, Suite 303, in Miami, according to a recently submitted plan review.
What Now contacted a representative of the restaurant on Monday. The representative declined to comment on the upcoming location, saying it is as yet too early to release any information.
The Smoothie Spot’s smoothies come in original varieties like Mango Tango and Passion Blast, Green varieties like the Popeye (mango, pineapple, orange juice, spinach, kale, vanilla protein), Açai-focused flavors like Açai Paradise (passion fruit, açai, banana, almond milk), and Peanut Butter-forward flavors like PB&J and Chocolate Mix (banana milk, peanut butter, chocolate protein).
In addition to its smoothies, the Smoothie Spot also offers coffee drinks, tropical juices, smoothie bowls, and a menu of breakfast offerings like Avocado Toast, the Steak and Eggs Omelette, and Empanadas in varieties like beef, chicken, turkey, spinach, and Tropical Vegan.
The Northwest 117th Place location is in a building that currently houses several other fast-casual restaurant concepts, including BurgerFi, Panda Express, and Menchie’s.
