The popular healthy food chain is continuing to expand in Southeast Florida with a new location close to the beach.
From a recent application to the state, SoFresh is planned for 522 E Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach. This will be in the Sunshine Square Plaza next to Publix. It will continue the presence of health-conscious options near Boca Raton.
SoFresh is a franchise with 23 locations all around the U.S. There are currently multiple in Florida, including in Tampa, St. Johns and Longwood. The company was founded in Tampa in 2013 and has seen expansion ever since.
The restaurant is known for offering design-your-own-bowl options, which can contain two bases, three mix-ins, one sauce and protein. Ingredients include rice, noodles, potatoes, broccoli, tomatoes and onions. Wraps and quesadillas are also on the menu, along with smoothies and juices.
The new SoFresh will be next to DIY Frozen Yogurt and Supplements and in the same plaza as Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The nearest SoFresh location is in Fort Lauderdale. There is no word on the chain further expanding around Florida yet.
