Aventura’s Waterways Shoppes will soon be home new a concept from Chef David, who runs the kitchen at Street Kitchen in Surfside. Street Hibachi will take the kosher approach Chef David has shown success with at Street Kitchen and apply it to hibachi in a spacious new restaurant.

“It’s a unique kosher hibachi place,” a representative told What Now on Monday. “We don’t think there’s anything like it in the area. It’ll also be available for large parties.”

Street Hibachi will boast seating for about 380 guests in a space that will feature 5-8 hibachi tables, dining room seating, a sushi bar, and an outdoor patio overlooking Waterways Shops.

Details on the menu have yet to be released, but anyone curious about Chef David’s kosher cuisine can look to the Street Kitchen menu, which features Chef’s Specials like Braised Beef Cheeks with mashed potatoes and bokchoy; burgers like the 153 burger with jalapeño, mushrooms, onion jam, and beef bacon with sweet red chipotle; and fish dishes like pan-seared salmon over beluga lentils, carrots, celery, and potatoes.

We’re not sure when Street Hibachi will open just yet, but in the meantime check out Street Kitchen, and follow @streetkitchen.miami on Instagram.
