After outgrowing its current home, popular Boynton Beach sushi bar Sushi Bang Bang is preparing to expand to a larger space. But it’s not moving far—only about 200 yards. Currently located at 1050 Gateway Blvd #103, the restaurant will make the journey from one side of Quantum Town Center to the other, reopening at 1000 Gateway Blvd #101-102.

“It’s going to be bigger, more luxurious, and more comfortable, with a more modern design,” Dimitrij, a new co-owner of the restaurant (which sold about a year ago), told What Now on Monday.

The new space will seat 122 guests, offering the same sushi menu that has made the restaurant popular in its current home. That menu features a wide variety of sushi rolls served up with house-made sauces. There are plenty of gluten-free options (which can be difficult to find, given the ubiquity of soy sauce), along with choices for those with fish allergies and those not comfortable with raw fish.

You can, in other words, expect the exact same culinary experience in an upgraded setting, says Dimitrij.

“The food is great, but it’s been sort of packed. We want to retain the same food experience and move it even further, giving guests a more comfortable environment.”
