Voted “Best of Boca” three times in Boca Raton Magazine, Japanese Restaurant Sushi Yama Asian Bistro is preparing to launch a third location. In addition to its restaurants in Boca Raton and Palm Beach Gardens, Sushi Yama will open at 11400 S Military Trail in Boynton Beach.
The Boca Raton Sushi Yama location offers a menu that opens with Appetizers like Beef Negimaki, Shicke Satay, Vegetable Gyoza, Lobster Shumai—to name only a few. House Special Entrees include Lava Chicken (Battered skinless boneless chicken, red onion, tomatoes and bell peppers with sweet chili sauce) and Yama! Hot Snapper (Fried filet boneless fresh snapper topped with choice of: Chili, Garlic, Basil or Curry sauce!!!). You’ll also find classics like Chicken Teriyaki and Mongolian Beef.
On the sushi side are a broad selection of sashimi choices, including sashimi entrees like Chirashi and Unagi Don, along with Special Rolls like the Crispy Salmon Roll, the Crazy Roll (Grilled eel, Salmon skin, avocado, scallion and roe with sauce), and the Kimchi Roll.
Opening in the South Military Trail location, Sushi Yama will join a food and drink community that includes brands like Jersey Mike’s Subs, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Creole Food.
What Now confirmed news of the opening with a representative of the restaurant on Wednesday. Owner Adam Phouthavong was not immediately available for comment on the upcoming location.
