The Houston-based chain Sweet Paris Crêperie and Café has immediate plans to tap into the Miami-area market. On Monday, What Now spoke with franchisee, Ivette Escobar to confirm details.
The first location we can expect to see will be Doral, Escobar said. This is the location she is franchising, and it will be located at 5335 NW 87th Ave, in the Downtown Doral shopping mall. Though the brand’s website suggests it will open this spring, Escobar estimates that we will be able to enjoy the chic French fare come early August.
The Coral Gables location is earlier on in the pre-opening stages, and we should expect to find the restaurant at 3005 Ponce de Leon sometime this fall. An exact opening date is not available. According to Escobar, she will not be the franchisee of this location, as it is corporate-owned.
Escobar once served as the Chief Development Officer for the brand, but decided to transition into her current franchisee role. More expansion may come in the future, as Escobar shared hopes for expanding in the Fort Lauderdale area, but that won’t be for another two years, she said.
