Coming to South Florida “De Guatemala Con Amor,” Taqueria Chapin has been serving up tacos and other favorites from Mexican cuisine as a food truck. Now, the brand appears to be finding a permanent home.

Plan review paperwork submitted by Pizzeria Y Cafeteria El Chapin Inc. shows the restaurant opening at 928 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach.

Taqueria Chapin’s menu has featured tacos with protein choices like Pollo, Al Pastor, and more, along with quesadillas and Mixta Chapin giant tacos. It is not yet known what changes can be expected to the menu—and judging from the name, pizza appears to be in order.

What Now reached out on Monday to owner Julio Castro to inquire about plans for the opening of a permanent brick-and-mortar Taqueria Chapin. Castro was not immediately available for comment.

Opening at 928 Belvedere Road, the new restaurant would join Dominican eatery El Ydeal Restaurant, situated down the road from other concepts like Souvlaki Grill and Tulipan Bakery.
