Tequesta’s food and drink community is getting a new spot for slow-cooked smoked eats early next year. Tequesta Smokehouse, a brand-new restaurant, is preparing to open at 287 S US Hwy 1 in Tequesta, according to plan review documents submitted by PW OPCO LLC.
“We’re hoping to open at the end of January,” a representative of the restaurant told What Now on Wednesday. The representative declined to comment further at this time, as specifics about Tequesta Smokehouse are still being worked out.
The representative has not yet confirmed the address of the location, and some disambiguation is in order there. 287 S US Rte 1, Tequesta, is the current address of Tequesta Brewing Co. As far we know, Tequesta Brewing Co. isn’t going anywhere, so Tequesta Smokehouse may be joining the brewery.
The restaurant’s website, which is live, currently says only that Tequesta Smokehouse is Coming Soon.
