“It’s Not A Style, It’s The Real Thing,” says the website of The NY Pizza Place, a pizza chain now offering New York (we will not say New York-style!) pizzas at three locations in South Florida: in Boca Raton, in Parkland/Coral Springs, and in Tamarac. The NY Pizza Place has built a following with pizza by the slice and New York pizza dough shipped down from Brooklyn itself. And now the brand is building on that success to launch a fourth location, this time in Deerfield Beach, at 1660 SE Third Court.
“We’re shooting for an opening in Winter 2025,” co-owner Elyshia Allen told What now on Friday. “It’s going to be perfect for slices at the beach.”
Like the brand’s other three pizzerias, The NY Pizza Place in Deerfield will serve pizza varieties like the The Brooklyn (delicious combo of pepperoni, sausage, peppers, and onions), Nonna’s Deep Dish Sicilian Pizza (Deep dish crust pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil), and the JJ Special Chicken BBQ Pizza (Breaded chicken, bacon, mozzarella, and BBQ sauce served with a side of ranch. No red sauce. Make it sweet—add pineapple!).
There will also be the same popular specials, like $20 20-inch large specialty pies on Tuesdays and Meatball Mondays ($5 meatball orders with purchase of a large specialty pie).
“We bring a slice of the Big Apple to the Sunshine State,” says The NY Pizza Place’s website. “Nestled in the heart of South Florida, our pizzeria is dedicated to delivering the authentic taste of New York-style pizza right to your doorstep.”
