Just over two years ago, What Now reported on the planned opening of The Tree House Indoor Playground and Cafe in Fort Lauderdale. The playground “designed, run and managed daily by parents for parents” has since opened, and it’s getting great reviews.
“This is our number 1 indoor option now—it’s not so loud like the other indoor playgrounds, small enough that you don’t worry so much about the kids but big enough that you’re not bored in less than hour,” says one 5-star review posted on the brand’s website.
“This place is tremendous. Someone had a vision and truly accomplished it. Not too big or overblown, reasonably priced,” says another.
Now, the indoor play center expanding to a second location, this time in Pompano Beach, at 1855 N Federal Highway, Suite E104.
What Now reached out to co-founder Thiago Ribeiro on Wednesday to ask about plans for the new location. Ribeiro declined to make any immediate comment on the opening, but What Now is awaiting more information.
Naturally, we’re especially curious about the “Cafe” part of the name. Details on food offerings at the Pompano Beach location are not yet available, but the Fort Lauderdale location is home to The Dough Fellas at the Tree House, which serves up “Pizza so good you’ll think you’re in Italy.” On top of pizza, there are also Artisan Charcuterie Boards, Amazing Salads, Sandwich Platters, Coffee & Adult Beverages, and more.
