Fort Lauderdale’s Flagler Village will soon be home to a brand new spot to explore new wines and share tapas with friends.

“It’s going to be tapas, small shareables, flatbreads, sandwiches, charcuterie, that sort of thing,” co-owner and sommelier Jason Javens told What Now on Monday. These small bites will be paired with a constantly updated wine list that will always have something new to try out and learn about.

“What we really want to do is expose people to new things,” Javens said. “It’s not just a place where you sit down and order the same wine you always drink. The idea is to really engage people with our experience with and passion for wine.”

With space for a total of about 70 guests, including both interior and patio seating, Through the Vine promises to be a great place to hang out and discover your new favorite bottle. It’s opening at 444 NE Seventh Street this spring.

Details on the menu are still under wraps, but keep your eyes peeled for more info coming soon.

You can keep up with the opening by following @throughthevineftl and by following Javens wine-related Instagram page, @_wineseeker_, where he’s also posting Through the Vine updates.
