Located atop Julia & Henry’s at 200 E Flagler Street, Chef Massimo Bottura’s Michelin-starred restaurant Torno Subito’s Miami location is closing down for the summer, according to coverage by the Miami Herald.
What Now reported on the restaurant’s opening in January 2023; ultimately, it turned out to be one of the most anticipated openings of 2024, offering “a modern twist on Italian cuisine.” The restaurant’s Miami outpost is its second, added to original location in Dubai.
A spokesperson for the restaurant specifies in the Herald coverage that the summer closing is only temporary.
“The city welcomed us with open arms, and the creative community here has inspired us all. We remain fully committed to Miami.”
The restaurant’s reopening is expected to fall not long after the anniversary of its August 2024 grand opening, in September 2025.
So stay tuned for a just a few months, and soon there will be more from Torno Subito’s award-winning menu, which has featured dishes like handmade tortellini in creamy Parmigiano Reggiano sauce, A Cacio E Pepe In Miami (spaghetti, pecorino cheese, black pepper, citrus essence), and Seabass Porketta (will seabass stuffed with pork bacon, rosemary, dill, lemon emulsion, grilled baby lettuce).
Torno Subito closes for the summer on June 29.
