Lantana Square Plaza, a retail center on the southwest corner of the intersection between Jog Road and Lantana Road in Lake Worth Beach, is the future home of a new family-owned tea shop offering “Creative Drinks for Creative People.” Touch of Tea will open in Unit A14 at 6169 Jog Road.
“We are basically from a small town on the border of China,” Yulia, who owns Touch of Tea, told What Now in an email conversation on Wednesday. “We traveled [in] a lot of countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, and it was there that we got acquainted with matcha green tea, ground into powder, and unique tea formats with tapioca (boba) and cheese foam (cream). There, tea was combined with fruits in specific proportions. It was simultaneously sour, sweet, salty, and engaged all aspects of taste receptors.”
After returning home from their travels, Yulia said, the family began to miss the other forms of tea they’d encountered.
“That’s when our mini beverage production began.”
Touch of Tea will offer “more than 30 combinations of fermented tea, TOT Signature Cream and tapioca as a special ingredient. Fresh fruits and all kinds of toppings can be mixed in the TOT cup. And every time, it will be a discovery.” The space will have a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with seating for about twelve guests.
“We have always loved tea, people, art, beautiful places, and delicious food. We had the idea to create a tea boutique, a new creative space, and a new community where no one is afraid to be themselves, bringing together free-spirited and modern individuals who share common values. Dreamers, conventionalists, pioneers, contemplators, businessmen, free artists—everyone could find a drink to their taste, according to their mood, as each taste category has its own character, which we reflected in the menu.”
Be on the lookout for Touch of Tea, opening soon at Lantana Square Plaza.
