With seven locations in South Florida, from Wynwood to Boca to Doral’s Shoma Bazaar, popular local chain Shahs of Kabob shows no sign of stopping its growth. After launching its Boca Raton location—and in addition to locations planned near Florida International University and in Aventura—coverage by the Miami Herald revealed that the restaurant also has two Broward County locations in the works in Davie and in Pembroke Pines.
The brand’s popularity has been bolstered by its insistence on reasonable pricing in the face of rising prices everywhere you look.
“We won’t jeopardize our quality, but we’ll sell as cheaply as we can,” owner Amin Ebrahimi said the in Herald coverage. “Everything we do is geared around community.”
The Shahs of Kabob menu features large plates like Koobideh (2 skewers of mixed beef + lamb), Joojeh (1 skewer of marinated chicken), and Barg (1 skewer of filet mignon). There are also selections of wraps featuring Koobideh, Joojeh, and Falafel, along with stews like Ghormeh Sabzi (Slowly cooked meat in rich and fresh herb gravy along with kidney beans).
Sites have yet to be revealed for the two new Broward locations, but the Herald they could be expected to open sometime in the coming year. 2025 is getting closer and closer!
