A gentle, tempering counterweight to the health madness that seems to grow each day, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream reminds us that it’s good to indulge to sometimes—and it’s just no fun not to.
“Nowadays, people can spend so much time on what’s ‘healthy’ they don’t stop to consider what’s healthy,” the brand’s website says. “As far as we’re concerned, happiness is healthiness.”
And a little bit of happiness is what this ice cream brand brings to the table, with flavors that go the extra mile in keeping thing fresh and interesting. That means flavors like Lemon Poppyseed Muffin, Buttermilk Berry Cornbread, Marionberry Cheesecake, and Earl Gray Tea. (Fun!)
And if you’re a plant-based diner, you’re in luck, as Van Leeuwen’s menu features vegan varieties like Vegan Churros & Fudge and Vegan Chocolate Cookie Dough Honeycomb.
The brand has already made its South Florida debut with a location in Miami Beach, with several already known to be in the works, including in West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens.
To these can be added a fifth South Florida location: its opening in Mary Brickell Village, at 901 S Miami Ave.
“This is our way. The good way. The Van Leeuwen way,” the website says. “Not just the best way to make ice cream, but to live.”
