The southeast corner of Washington Avenue and 17th Street in Miami Beach, right next to Soundscape Park, appears to be the future home of Vilebrequin La Plage, a new restaurant opening in Miami Beach this summer.

Paperwork submitted by SOBE Center LLC for Vilebrequin La Plage Miami, shows the restaurant opening at 1685 Washington Avenue. Behind SOBE Center LLC are Ronald and Richard Finvarb of the Finvarb Group, a Miami-based real estate development and investment firm. Finvarb Group is also behind restaurants like Miami Beach’s Osteria Morini and Bay Harbor IslandsThe Palm Restaurant.

Vilebrequin, the apparel company, launched a “private beach and dining experience” called Vilebrequin La Plage last year in Cannes, France. The Miami Beach location appears to be connected to this brand.

No information is available yet on Vilebrequin La Plage’s food and drink offerings. What Now reached out to Ronald Finvarb on Monday to inquire about plans for the opening. Finvarb declined to make any immediate comment on the project.
