Growing brewery chain Voodoo Brewing Company may have South Florida in mind for its next outpost. Voodoo Brewery has a handful of company-owned locations in its native Pennsylvania and has been expanding on a franchise model, launching outposts in states like Colorado, Nevada, Ohio, and South Carolina. Now, recently submitted plan review paperwork shows “Voodoo Brewery” opening at 3492 NE 12th Ave., Unit B, in Oakland Park.

An Oakland Park location would be the brewery chain’s second in the state of Florida, where it also has an outpost in St. Petersburg. Voodoo was founded in 2005 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and it launched its first taproom in 2012.

“Whether you’re in the mood for a juicy burger, crispy chicken wings, or savory mac and cheese, our menu offers a range of mouth-watering options,” reads the Voodoo Brewing Co. website. “So gather your friends and family for a memorable dining experience that satisfies both your taste buds and thirst for exceptional brews.”

What Now reached out to a representative of the planned Voodoo Brewery project in Oakland Park on Wednesday. The representative was not immediately available for comment.
