Driven by the culinary imagination of Executive Chef Brandon Thordarson, Canadian-born restaurant chain Moxies has grown to more than fifty locations in North America over the course of more than thirty years. The brand already has two locations in the South Florida market, in Fort Lauderdale and in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, and now its growth looks to be continuing with a new restaurant planned for West Palm Beach.
Plan review paperwork was submitted for a new Moxies at 565 S Rosemary Ave by Del Boca West Palm Beach LP, behind which is franchisee Eatz Hospitality US.
The Moxies menu features mains like Blackened Mahi Mahi (spiced mahi mahi with chorizo & corn hash, creamy mashed potatoes & salsacado) and Baby Back Ribs. You can also choose from Handhelds like The Load Cheeseburger (aged white & orange cheddar, burger sauce, sautéed mushrooms, bacon & bbq sauce), French Dip, and Blackened Shrimp Tacos, and Pastas & Bowls ranging from Linguine Bolognese to Miso Ramen.
“Drawing inspiration from his experience in a Michelin-recognized restaurant and designing the menu for the James Beard House Canada 150th celebration, Executive Chef Brandon Thordarson delivers culinary excellence under a commitment to the craft of cooking and the personal mantra, ‘if it isn’t right, it doesn’t leave the kitchen,’” says the Moxies website’s About page. “Chef Brandon has created an entire menu of artfully crafted, fresh flavours exclusive to Moxies. All served in a captivating ambience by a team dedicated to making Moxies the best part of your day.”
What Now reached out on Friday to Paul Randle, president of Eatz Hospitality, to inquire about plans for a new Moxies in West Palm Beach. Randle was not immediately available for comment.
