Breathe in dedication; Breathe out exhaustion.

So Xcel Padel, a “Premium Padel & Wellness Club” making its debut in South Florida this year, enjoins prospective guests. The concept is taking advantage of the padel craze to create a brand that will stand as a hub for entertainment, health, and relaxation.

“Each venue allows you to play padel, relax, work, and chat, whether you’re a newcomer, a pro, a health fanatic, or a person constantly seeking the fountain of youth,” says the Xcel Padel website. “Xcel Padel is open to everyone seeking fun, competition, fitness, or a short getaway.”

If you came up short on that first word each—”each venue”?—you’re not alone. But it’s true: Xcel Padel, helmed by CEO Irina Ryzhuk, padel expert Marcos Del Pilar, and their team, is planning a debut that includes two locations this year.

The first will open this summer in Westlake; the second in West Palm Beach this fall, opening at 101 Sansburys Way.

The website outlines a three step process at Xcel Padel. Heat Up: “Escape, unwind in our saunas and steam room, and get in shape in our state-of-the-art gym”; Cool Down: “Jump into our ice baths and lay down for a massage that is made to recharge your body and mind”; and (most interestingly for us) Drink & Eat: “Enjoy lunch and drinks at our many different lounge areas.”

What Now reached out to a representative of Xcel Padel this week to ask about plans for the openings, and especially about the two venues’ food and beverage program. The representative was not available to comment by deadline, but What Now is awaiting more details.
