Dania Pointe is looking to become South Florida’s dining, shopping, and entertainment hub. The center, located just off I-95 between Griffin and Sterling Roads, features high-end dining and shopping offerings such as Cooper’s Hawk, Anthropologie, Lululemon, and Sirocco Mediterranean — with more on the way.
One of the more alluring restaurants recently announced is Zhō by Bol Hospitality. The 6,700 square foot restaurant will open next to the Fort Lauderdale Improv on Pointe Drive in late 2026.
The restaurant, brought to you by the team behind South Florida favorites Bae Korean Grill and the Social Room, will offer a menu that features the best regional dishes from China, Japan, Thailand, and Korea.
Bol Hospitality’s Eric Douglas tells What Now Miami that Zhō– named after a Chinese word that, essentially means “travel by boat” — will be a journey through Asia in food and drink in a beautiful, contemporary setting. “The food is not necessarily fusion, rather these various countries will be represented.” The food will be complimented with an Asian-inspired cocktail menu.
Douglas wants the experience at Zhō to be both memorable and approachable. By offering a range of Asian flavors and culinary techniques, diners will be able to return time and again to explore something new at every meal. “We’ve been thinking about this concept for years. We want to give people quality that’s not super expensive.” Douglas says that more and more, diners are looking for a restaurant that will give them a feeling of satisfaction. “People who go out to dine are a little more conscious of how they spend their dollars. They want to make sure their evening out is very intentional, whether it’s the ingredients or the general vibe. We want to make sure that when you choose us, your time and money is well spent.”
