Doral is welcoming another location of Paradise Grills, which is led by CEO Ray Baskett. The company already has a strong presence in the southeast, with locations spanning from North Carolina to Texas. This location will be one of several in south Florida.
According to leasing data, the store will appear at 8700 NW 36 Street in the multi-tenet retail center Doral Square. They are permitting as of now and will begin their build-out shortly. By Baskett’s estimates, the location will be opening in August.
In a phone conversation on Friday, Baskett described Paradise Grills as a lifestyle brand. With a range of offerings, the company caters to those seeking to spruce up their outdoor areas with kitchens, fire features, hibachis, Tiki huts and more. Many of their packages are tropically themed, complete with appropriate names based on Islands like Aruba, St. Croix, Maui and St. Thomas.
Baskett reports that the company is rolling out a new program called Paradise Vibe, which will allow for five-day deliveries for most of their product lines. What makes them unique is the ease and speed by which their builds can be installed: “very few [installs] require permits. It’s just a set down, plug in. It’s like plugging in anything else that’s portable” Baskett said.
