The Tips Golf, a new premium indoor golf studio, opens its doors this summer at 115 SW 8th Street on the 2nd floor of the AC Hotel Miami Brickell, merging a hospitality-first mindset with state-of-the-art Trackman iO technology. A sleek destination to practice, play, and socialize while enjoying upscale food and drinks, The Tips is South Florida’s only high-end, all-in-one indoor golf experience tailored to both competitive players looking to elevate their skills and casual fans in it for the camaraderie and cocktails.
Developed by Founder/CEO, avid golfer, and former Wall Street executive Alejandro Piekarewicz, and co-created with his wife and branding expert Elise Piekarewicz, The Tips was born from Alejandro’s desire to bring something entirely new to Miami. “I created The Tips for fellow golfers who value both performance and atmosphere. Whether you’re taking a lesson, practicing on your own, or teeing it up with friends over drinks, our goal is to deliver a premium experience driven by genuine hospitality in every aspect” Alejandro said in a statement.
Set across two levels totaling 3,600 square feet, The Tips features five Trackman-powered simulator bays, plush lounge seating, a full-service bar, and high-quality takes on classic clubhouse dishes. Designed by the team at Stalemate Creative, the tone of the space strikes a balance between sophistication and easy comfort with a rich palette of natural textures and earthy tones, including warm wood paneling, caramel leather seating, and sleek marble finishes. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views of downtown Miami, bringing in natural light by day and city sparkle by night. The bar seats 10, while each bay comfortably accommodates four to five players seated with room for additional guests to mingle.
At its core, The Tips is built to deliver a top-tier golf experience for every skill level. In addition to simulator play and practice, guests can book private lessons from Director of Instruction, Landon Michelson, a Miami native and decorated former professional golfer. His holistic approach to coaching incorporates everything from mechanics to mindset to course management and is bolstered by the studio’s cutting-edge swing analysis tools.
Overseen by General Manager and Certified Sommelier Brian Carpinello, the beverage program features golf cocktails such as the “Caribbean Transfusion,” timeless classics, and a premium selection of wine and beer. The food menu includes dishes such as steak tacos with a chimichurri kick, Colossal Shrimp Cocktail, Margherita and BBQ Chicken Flatbreads, and sweets like the sugared donut “Bucket of Balls”.
For golfers seeking a home base to hone their game and a haven for unwinding, The Tips offers two flexible membership options.
