Coupe Longueuil, a new neighborhood bar concept, is getting ready to open in Montreal at an address on Jarry Street near St-Hubert.

The company’s latest venture will take over a storefront along the rapidly developing Jarry corridor, according to Silo57. While an exact address has yet to be confirmed, Coupe Longueuil is slated to open in Winter 2026. Customers can expect an accessible, unpretentious venue serving high-quality wine, good beer, and a funky cocktail menu, laid out in a two-part layout described as “refreshments in the front, dive bar in the back.”

The project is being developed by the team behind Snowbird Tiki Bar and Cobra Tavern, both of which are known for their distinctive atmospheres and meticulous buildouts. This marks the group’s continued expansion in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie area, following the announcement of the upcoming Wünderbar beer hall earlier this year on Saint-Hubert Street.

Coupe Longueuil will aim to deliver a cozy and slightly provocative ambiance, featuring cathode-ray televisions looping cult 1980s soap operas. The space is designed to foster closeness and casual interaction, while maintaining a polished visual identity in line with the group’s previous ventures.

The team has not yet disclosed a food component, but the focus will center on drinks and vibe. The bar already has a presence on Instagram, although at the time of this publication, there have been no posts made.

As with Snowbird and Cobra, Coupe Longueuil is expected to reflect its founders’ ongoing interest in concept-forward nightlife spaces tailored to the evolving tastes of Montreal’s bar scene.
