Egg Club, the Toronto-born fast-casual breakfast chain, is taking its egg sandwiches beyond Ontario. The brand is planning new locations in Ottawa and Quebec as part of a broader push to bring its made-to-order breakfast to more Canadians.

Jason Yu, the founder and president, launched Egg Club in 2020 after developing the concept for two years, according to Retail Insider. The chain now has 10 locations across Canada, including spots in Toronto, North York, Liberty Village, Waterloo, Calgary, and Ottawa. What Now reached out to Yu to clarify whether the new Ottawa and Quebec sites will be corporate-owned or franchised, but has not received a response.

Egg Club keeps the menu simple yet creative, featuring soft Japanese milk bread, folded eggs, house-made sauces, and signature sandwiches like the Bacon & Cheese, Guacamolic, and seasonal favorites like the Chipotle Lobster Bowl. Pair it with hash browns or a cup of brewed coffee, and you’ve got a breakfast that feels both elevated and approachable.

The brand targets high-traffic areas, with store sizes ranging from 450 to 1,200 square feet. Larger locations include seating, but the focus remains on fast, fresh, made-to-order food that works for grab-and-go mornings.

Egg Club also emphasizes a purpose-driven business approach. Through partnerships with charities, the brand supports clean water projects, children’s education, Middle East relief, and more, so every sandwich has a small social impact baked in.

With its expansion into Ottawa and Quebec, Egg Club is signaling that its modern take on the classic egg sandwich is no longer just a Toronto thing. For breakfast lovers east of Ontario, it’s about to get a lot more interesting.
