Groupe Hôtelier Grand Château is rebranding Hilton Laval as OMAGE Hotel Laval, which will join Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio at 2225 Desserte est des Laurentides.

The hotel’s transformation includes a full-scale renovation of its 190 rooms, 42 long-stay suites, lobby, exterior, and event spaces, and will reopen on February 26th, according to General Manager Annie-Eve Frigon. The 10-story boutique hotel will feature an on-site restaurant, Ôtentic, offering fresh, locally inspired dishes in a relaxed setting. Frigon tells What Now that customers can expect a variety of meals, from tartare to salads to steaks, and promotes Quebec producers, as the restaurant will be open for breakfast to dinner.

Ôtentic will serve as the centerpiece of the property’s culinary offerings, providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for hotel guests and local visitors. The menu emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and fresh flavors, paired with a warm, approachable atmosphere. With indoor seating and access to the sunlit terrace, the restaurant is designed to cater to both casual meals and social gatherings throughout the day.

The hotel’s lobby and public spaces are designed by CAMDI Design and DMA Architectes, using wood, stone, steel, water, and fire as inspiration. The lobby functions as a social lounge with communal tables, a fireplace, and a custom chandelier, while hidden passages create a unique, immersive environment. These spaces complement Ôtentic, encouraging guests to move seamlessly between dining, work, and social areas.

OMAGE Hotel Laval is positioned as Laval’s first Tribute Portfolio boutique hotel, blending boutique charm with Marriott Bonvoy benefits. In addition to the restaurant, the property features an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, event spaces, and an on-site gift shop. The hotel also offers long-stay suites with kitchens, appealing to both business and leisure travelers seeking flexibility and comfort.

By combining locally inspired dining with thoughtfully designed social and guest spaces, OMAGE Hotel Laval aims to create a vibrant destination for visitors and residents alike. The on-site restaurant Ôtentic is central to this vision, providing a high-quality, approachable food experience that complements the hotel’s boutique, character-driven identity.
