KaleMart24, the Montreal-based natural convenience store chain, is set to open its newest location at 755 Boul. le Corbusier in Laval, steps from Place Bell.
While an official opening date has not been confirmed, online sources suggest the store could open as early as September 2025. This will be KaleMart24’s ninth store overall and the second in Laval, following the earlier announcement of a location at Espace Montmorency. The new store will be franchisee-owned by Prasad Ratnam.
“We are excited to plant roots in Laval and serve the dynamic community around Espace Montmorency and Place Bell,” Sam Saoudi, Founder and CEO of KaleMart24, said in a press release earlier this year. “This location is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our commitment to healthy living and sustainability, while providing convenient access to quality products for residents, commuters, and hockey fans alike.”
KaleMart24 offers a curated selection of organic snacks, beverages, ready-to-eat meals, personal care items, and a small pet section. Grab-and-go options include items like vegan wraps, quinoa salads, chia pudding, and cold-pressed juices. The store also features locally sourced brands and products that cater to a range of dietary preferences, including gluten-free, plant-based, and keto-friendly choices.
The stores are designed with a modern aesthetic and operate 24/7 with advanced checkout technology and a loyalty rewards program.
The Laval store opening is part of KaleMart24’s aggressive growth strategy, with seven new locations confirmed for summer 2025 and a goal of opening at least 20 more in the next year across Quebec and Ontario, according to Retail Insider. Most of these new locations will be operated by separate franchise owners. Saoudi confirms with Montreal that upcoming stores include sites in Montreal’s Mount-Royal and Peel Street neighborhoods, Gatineau, Ottawa, and Kitchener.
