Le Billy, a cocktail and music bar blending nightlife and live performance, is getting ready to debut in Montreal at 4019 Wellington Street in the Verdun neighborhood.

The new concept is set to open around the end of October, taking over the former home of Bar Palco, according to the company’s social media. While an exact date has not been confirmed, Le Billy recently teased its opening on social media by announcing an upcoming show on November 6, featuring Josh & The Dirty Rags and Chaos & The Moon. Owned and operated by local restaurateurs Patrick Mainville and Hugues Gagnon, the bar is expected to focus on cocktails, live music, and a festive, laid-back environment.

Le Billy adds to Verdun’s evolving nightlife scene, aiming to serve as a new hub for live performances and community events. The team has begun programming its first lineup of musical acts and is currently seeking performers of all types, including full bands, duos, and solo artists. The venue is positioning itself as a platform for emerging talent and aims to cultivate a welcoming, high-energy space for both artists and patrons.

The space formerly occupied by Bar Palco has long been a staple of Verdun’s bar scene. Le Billy’s arrival signals a fresh chapter while maintaining the location’s role as a cultural gathering spot. Additional details on the cocktail menu, musical schedule, and operating hours have not yet been released, but updates are being shared via social media as the opening approaches. Prospective performers are encouraged to reach out to the team through social channels to be considered for upcoming shows.
