Le Solstice, a smash burger concept currently located at 719 Chem. du Village in Morin-Heights, is getting ready to move to a new brick-and-mortar location in Saint-Sauveur at 291 Rue Principale.

Owner Missy Tremblay tells What Now Montreal that the company is moving to the main street in Saint Sauveur, aiming for a May 2025 opening. The new Le Solstice will sit between Galerie D’Art Céleste and the now-closed home goods store, Click. When Le Solstice moves to its new location, customers can expect the same delicious menu and welcoming customer service as the original site. The new location will also feature plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which will be perfect for the summer days. The relocation proves crucial, as Le Solstice will see much more foot traffic in this new area.

Le Solstice offers a tasty menu with comfort food for every craving. The star of the show is the Smash Burgers, which includes a vegetarian option. The restaurant also offers a Smash Taco and Burger Végé made with Impossible Meat. They also serve delicious poutines, like the Poutine Piri-Piri with popcorn chicken, and Frites Deluxe with parmesan and truffle salt. There is the Hot-Dog Rôti au Beurre or the breakfast-inspired Déjeuner Sandwich for something lighter. Pair your meal with a coffee, milkshake, or even a boozy beverage if you’re of age. Le Solstice is perfect for dine-in or takeout, offering great food and a relaxed atmosphere.

“Le Solstice is the perfect place for a gourmet break all year round, whether heading out for a day of skiing, hiking, or mountain biking in the Morin-Heights area,” according to the company’s website. “At the helm, Missy Tremblay, accompanied by her younger sister Amy, launched her very first restaurant adventure here. After significant experiences, notably at Au Pied de Cochon in Montreal and as a sommelier in a Michelin-starred restaurant in France, Missy chose the Laurentians to offer gourmet, friendly, and unpretentious snack cuisine. Solstice offers simple and delicious dishes, as well as a careful selection of natural wines, ready-to-drink wines, and craft beers – an invitation to enjoy a delicious moment, whatever the season.”
