Lulu’s Pasta Bar, a Montreal-based quick-service concept known for crafting fresh pasta dishes in front of guests, is preparing to open a new location in Downtown Montreal at 1396 Boul. De Maisonneuve Ouest.
The company’s fourth location will move into the former home of Olivia’s Authentic Chicken near Concordia University, though an exact opening date has yet to be announced, according to the company’s website. Lulu’s Pasta Bar is co-owned by Jimmy Petropoulos and Anthy Siounis, who expect the new site to continue the brand’s signature approach: customizable pasta bowls made with high-quality ingredients and served in a fast-casual setting.
This upcoming location follows the company’s May 2025 expansion into Carrefour Laval, marking its first mall-based restaurant. Lulu’s also operates two locations in Griffintown and Quartier Latin. The brand has quickly gained a following for its made-to-order pasta concept, featuring a variety of sauces, proteins, and toppings designed to suit every palate.
The menu at Lulu’s Pasta Bar includes signature dishes such as Chicken Tarragon, Tuscan Chicken, and Mushroom Truffle, alongside creative ‘Delulu’ offerings like Creamy Cheeseburger and Parmesan Bacon. A vegan section and build-your-own pasta bowls provide flexible options for different dietary needs. All pasta is made using semolina flour, and sauces are prepared fresh in-house.
This downtown address places Lulu’s in a high-traffic corridor surrounded by students, office workers, and residents — a strategic fit for the brand’s quick-service model. The concept combines the convenience of QSR with the customization of fast-casual dining, aiming to redefine the experience of fresh pasta in an urban setting.
