Malak Al Tawouk, a renowned Lebanese fast-food chain that has been delighting customers with its signature Tawouk sandwiches since 1996, is getting ready to open a new location in Montreal at the corner of Boulevard Marcel-Laurin and Boulevard Côte-Vertu.
Founded in Tabarja, Lebanon, by the Saadeh brothers, the brand has grown from a single location to over 40 outlets across Lebanon and expanded internationally to countries including Canada, France, Iraq, Qatar, and the UAE. Now the company is ready to expand even further within Canada, as Bachir Khairallah, franchise owner of Malak Al Tawouk Québec, plans to open a new location in Summer 2025, according to Keller Williams Montreal. Malak Al Tawouk has one location in Montreal, which opened on March 23, 2024, at 3454 Avenue du Parc, marking the Lebanese chain’s first outlet in North America.
This location offers exceptional visibility within a dynamic shopping center. With ample parking and direct front access, it benefits from high foot traffic and excellent public transportation accessibility. Surrounded by well-known tenants such as Banque Laurentienne, Restaurant Rayan, Fleuriste Luluthia, and Ôttavio, this location is ideal for retailers, service businesses, and major chains looking to establish themselves in a thriving area. There is a commercial space available for rent within this strip mall. Available from April 2025, this space features a 20-foot frontage with a depth of 62 feet, providing an optimal commercial layout.
Malak Al Tawouk’s new Montreal location will offer an authentic taste of Lebanese street food. The menu features signature Tawouk sandwiches—grilled marinated chicken served in Lebanese bread with garlic sauce, pickles, and crispy fries. Additional offerings include burgers like the breaded mozzarella patty and platters featuring marinated chicken breast bites, halloumi, or Lebanese soujouk sausage. The restaurant aims to recreate the vibrant atmosphere of its Lebanese roots, providing a welcoming environment for both quick meals and leisurely dining experiences.
Looking ahead, Malak Al Tawouk plans to expand its global footprint. The company is targeting the Saudi Arabian market, with a goal of establishing 30 outlets across the Kingdom by 2025. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to increase its presence in the Middle East and beyond. The brand’s commitment to high-quality, affordable Lebanese cuisine continues to drive its growth and international appeal.
