PieTown Building and Warehouse is Expected to be Transformed
In Nashville, certain properties are designated under the Downtown Code (DTC) to emphasize sustainable urban design and development during redevelopment. Dryden Architecture and Design has made a plan and submitted it to the authorities for the PieTown warehouse on behalf of the owner.
The plan aims to transform the 0.58-acre warehouse site at 720 Ewing Avenue into two restaurant spaces. If the plan gets approved, the renovation and upgrading of this warehouse will transform the landscape of PieTown. The idea came up to improve the functionality of the space.
What Does the New Restaurant Plan for PieTown Look Like?
Evelyn Capital will be the developer for the replacement of the warehouse with the restaurant. The interior part of the site will be transformed into an exemplary restaurant space. Multiple bar and seating arrangements will be made, as per the plan, along with sundecks or verandas.
For the exterior part of the warehouse building, aluminum cased new windows will be cut out. Landscape architect Hawkins Partners will take care of the greenery part. They will work on tree and shrub plantations in patios and exterior areas.
PieTown warehouse transformation plan is expected to be picked up during the Metro Planning Commission Agenda dated May 22, 2025. If the authorities approve the plan, the current location will be recast to an appealing restaurant space with greenery all around.
