The Tennessee Department of Health observed a lack of managerial control at the pizza establishment. An employee’s plate of partially eaten chicken quesadillas was kept on the food prep table at Pizza and Gyro Party.

The person in charge was instructed to ensure employees at the La Vergne facility washed their hands and wore gloves while placing pizza into go boxes. Paper towels were missing at the hand sink at the Pizza and Gyro Party. The pizzeria had stored cooked meat sauce in a plastic container with the date July 29.

An unlabeled spray container was kept under the 3-compartment sink at Pizza and Gyro Party. Food debris was observed at the pizza facility’s oven, along with ice buildup in walk-in freezer. The full inspection report is available online.
