A new concept from Mt. Juliet’s beloved Smiley Thai restaurant will open later this year by August, called A-ROI by Smiley Thai, according to recent permits. The new spot is set to open in Nashville’s McKissack Park neighborhood with an address of 2700 Clifton Ave.
The restaurant will serve upscale sushi and familiar dishes from its sister restaurant but with a twist, according to a team member at Smiley Thai who confirmed the tentative opening date over the phone.
With a tentative timeline being August, the restaurant is still currently in the planning and construction phase. A sign permit was submitted for approval this month for A-ROI.
Some of the dishes on the menu that can be expected include their Spicy Crab Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Tamago Roll, and Yellow Tail Roll, as well as some vegetable-forward vegetarian rolls and side dishes.
Some of the neighboring businesses that A-ROI will soon be near include Swett’s Southern Cuisine, Best Wok Chinese Restaurant, and Blackstone Brewing Company all in the McKissack Park area of Nashville.
