On the heels of opening health-focused fast-casual brand Flower Child in Franklin earlier this summer, Fox Restaurant Concepts is bringing another brand to the city. Culinary Dropout is heading to 4020 Aspen Grove, Suite 101, in Franklin, according to its website. It is listed as “coming soon,” though an exact opening timeline remains unknown.

This will be the first spot for Culinary Dropout in Tennessee. The brand currently has 14 locations across Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas.

It offers menu favorites like pretzel bites and provolone fondue, 36-hour pork ribs and fried chicken drizzled with honey. Other offerings include salads, sandwiches, and a variety of entrees including steak-frites and roasted salmon. There is also a full beverage program with cocktails, zero-proof cocktails, beer and wine.

It is also known for its live music offerings.

“At Culinary Dropout, raise your glass to friends coming together. A place where food and music are life,” the website states. “Join us at happy hour for ice cold beer and our famous soft pretzels with provolone fondue. At dinner, a signature cocktail and slow braised 36-hour pork ribs are a perfect pair. While you and your crew enjoy damn good food and drinks, a local band plays live for great vibes. Come hang out and stay a while.”

Fox Restaurant Concepts, led by Sam Fox, has other restaurant brands in its portfolio, including Blanco Cocina + Cantina, Dough Bird, Fly Bye, Olive & Ivy and The Arrogant Butcher. The Henry, which debuted in Nashville last year, is also part of the family of concepts.
