Chef Robbie Wilson and his wife Emily Perry-Wilson, known for restaurants like BIRD DOG in Palo Alto, Calif., have big plans in Nashville for this year.

What Now Nashville previously reported that the couple plans to open Lion’s Share in the former McCabe Pub space at 4410 Murphy Road.

Now, the couple have landed a $3.8 million permit to conduct renovations on the space and to expand. Expansion plans include a 4,100-square-foot addition and a 763-square-foot patio, according to reporting by the Nashville Business Journal.

Initially the restaurant was expected to open in the spring, but it is now projected to have a summer opening, according to the Nashville Business Journal.

This is not the only Nashville project in the works for the Wilsons. What Now Nashville also reported plans for an outdoor dining concept and community area that will be called SuperNormal. That concept is also slated to open this year.

What Now Nashville reached out to Perry-Wilson for additional comment but did not receive further details prior to publication.
