Chicago-based Boka Restaurant Group will be bringing not just two, but three concepts to Nashville. They will include the previously announced Momotaro by Chef Gene Kato and Italian concept Alla Vita. There will also be a yet-to-be-announced third concept joining the pair, according to a release. Details are still to come on this third concept.
All three restaurants are expected to open in Wedgewood-Houston in 2026, according to the release.
Momotaro offers Japanese fine-dining, while Alla Vita is a neighborhood Italian eatery, serving pastas, pizzas and other Italian dishes, as well as a wine list and cocktail program. Signature dishes for Alla Vita include Cacio e Pepe Ricotta Dumplings and Chicken Parmigiana.
“Nashville is an incredible city, and I’m excited to spend more time here as we bring Alla Vita to town,” Chef Lee Wolen of Alla Vita said in a recent release. “I always love visiting, and it feels like a great fit for the next chapter of the restaurant. Our goal is to serve fresh, approachable Italian food in a fun, welcoming environment, and I’m looking forward to sharing that experience with Wedgewood-Houston and the entire Nashville community.”
Restaurateurs Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm founded Boka Restaurant Group in 2002. The restaurant group has a deep portfolio of chef-driven concepts, working with chefs like Stephanie Izard, Chris Pandel, Lee Wolen, Gene Kato, Michael Solomonov, Christina Tosi and Brian Lockwood.
