A familiar craft brewery may be coming back to Nashville soon.
Broadcast Brewing Co. was first reported to open on Main St. in East Nashville eleven years ago, in the same building as the first location of Fat Bottom Brewing, as stated by the Nashville Post from a 2012 article. It’s unclear why the business closed, however it is slated to make a comeback this year.
Broadcast Brewing, LLC filed for business in Sept. 2022 and met before the Beer Board on Dec. 1st, although it is unconfirmed if the business has a set date for a grand opening.
The brewery has been hinting at a re-open on their Facebook and Twitter, which had been inactive for years, as well as on their website, which claims they will be “on tap soon.” There is also an email sign-up on the home page of the site to be alerted with the latest news of the opening.
The new location of the business, as stated on its Beer Board application, could be at 2605 Grissom Dr. in the Berry Hill neighborhood.
Though Broadcast Brewing has been relatively quiet on their socials and website, the news of their Beer Board application and re-filing as a business are a hopeful indication that the brewery may soon come to fruition as early as this year.
The original owner of Broadcast Brewing, Mike Causey, did not immediately respond for comment from What Now Nashville.
The Nashville Post stated in 2012 that the “Broadcast” in Broadcast Brewing is a reference to Causey’s previous career running a media production company called Skyscraper Media.
