An East Nashville favorite Butcher and Bee has announced plans to expand.
A permit filed in December for an addition to the restaurant at 902 Main St was approved, making way for what will be called The Rose Room to host up to 60 people in a reception capacity.
The new space will allow for bachelorette parties, corporate events, holiday parties, and birthdays to be celebrated in the elegant Israeli-influenced style of Butcher and Bee.
The stylish restaurant is known for their vegetable-forward shared plates of whipped feta with fermented honey, avocado crispy rice bowls, and seasonal farm-to-table entrees.
According to their event pamphlet on the Butcher and Bee website, the space is set to open as early as May of 2023.
The restaurant’s website states it currently accommodates events in their upstairs mezzanine space, which hosts up to 24 people, as well as the option to fully reserve their outdoor patio which hosts up to 55 people. The new addition of the restaurant will allow for bigger parties of guests to be comfortable accommodated.
Butcher and Bee has two locations, with its original in Charleston, South Carolina and its East Nashville location as the second.
Owner Michael Shemtov joined by partner and Executive Chef Bryan Lee Weaver are behind the success of the East Nashville location of Butcher and Bee.
