A new Indian-fusion restaurant is opening soon in Murfreesboro at 710 Memorial Blvd. Suite 220 taking over the retired Cici’s Pizza location, as reported by the Boro Pulse. Chutney’s Indian Fusion will serve Indian, Chinese, American, Mediterranean, and Mexican-inspired dishes in order to offer an option for everyone, all on one menu.
Ayaz Ahmed, the owner of Chutney’s, has put in the necessary work to create a unique restaurant that will stand out in Murfreesboro. Though a grand opening date is not yet solidified, the restaurant hopes to open by June, pending construction efforts.
“Families who can’t agree on having Mexican, Chinese, or Indian food for dinner should all be able to find something they like on the menu,” stated Ahmed to the Pulse.
Some of the dishes that will be on the menu include an array of traditional Indian Tandoor-cooked meats, American chicken sandwiches, Chinese Kung Pao chicken, Mediterranean falafel, and Mexican beef fajitas, along with a robust dessert and globally-inspired drink menu, though no alcohol will be sold in the restaurant. Chutney’s will also offer a lunch buffet.
Chutney’s will neighbor a few other Murfreesboro businesses in the area, including The Seasoning Crab, Brass Horn Coffee Roasters, Burger King, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, and Hooter’s. It’s sure to become a popular spot in the neighborhood, as it will be one of the few to offer authentic and global dishes.
