Cilantro Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar is expanding to a new location. It will open in a 5,000-square-foot space at 133 12th Ave N. in the Gulch in December, according to the Nashville Business Journal. The spot was formerly home to The Eastern Peak.
The brand currently has locations near the Melrose neighborhood and in Five Points. The menu features vegetarian options, nachos, tacos, fajitas, chimichangas, steak options and a variety of seafood dishes, including shrimp and fish options.
The drink menu features margaritas, draft beer, spirits and wine by the glass.
A permit issued this month indicated plans for Cilantro Mexican Grill to occupy the space. They currently have a pending permit filed with the Beer Board.
The new location will be near Tiff’s Treats and gym F45 Training.
