Eggs Up Grill, a breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept, has signed a 10 unit agreement with Crumbl Cookies Franchisee LJSweets, LLC of Tennessee.

Owned by Ron and Amy Fausnaught, LJSweets owns two Crumbl Cookies locations in Hendersonville and Murfreesboro.

The agreement began when Amy fell in love with Eggs Up Grill while dining at a location during a family trip, said LJSweets chief operating officer Victoria Fausnaught.

“It was bright and airy,” Fausnaught told What Now. “She said: ‘I love this and I think it’s going to be a great fit for us.'”

After exploring the brand, the Fausnaughts fell further in love with the people behind the concept.

The fact that Eggs Up Grill is a classic breakfast restaurant was also appealing.

“This was classic,” Fausnaught said. “It tasted good and it was made right there. It’s like that classic comfort breakfast.”

The breakfast concept is also perfect because it provides more options to the community, Fausnaught added.

“We’re really focused on more of the communities outside of Nashville,” she added. “We want to give them something more. We want them to have options. Something fun and bright. They deserve something new too.”

The Fausnaughts are currently exploring different locations and plan to have at least one Eggs Up Grill opened next year.

“We would love to start close to home, closer to Murfreesboro, but it depends on where we find that sweet spot first,” Fausnaught said.
