When The Loading Dock recently announced it would be closing and looking to relocate, the nature of its lease ending at 2020 Lindell Ave. was not initially revealed. We know now that the Wedgewood-Houston space has been taken by another tenant, Crumbly Corner Cafe, a brand new concept that will reportedly open in May.

An exact grand opening date is not yet confirmed. The concept does not appear to have a website or any social media channels created yet.

The Nashville Post confirmed the news, noting Micah Berg and Vipin Choudhary are behind the new concept. Berg and Choudhary are already entrepreneurial business partners, having recently opened an Indian-American concept called Heck Ya! Food Truck in the same complex at Lindell Ave. Choudhary, a native of India, received culinary training in Dubai and Europe before coming stateside.

Crumbly Corner will focus on fresh-baked pastries, bread, cookies, and can even cater wedding cakes. Its cafe menu will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with offerings such as locally sourced coffee from Sky Bear Coffee, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, club sandwiches, and once nightfall hits, tapas-style items, liquor, wine, and beer, the Post article states.

The Loading Dock’s last day of operations is April 27. Crumbly Corner will likely open within the following weeks to a month, once fully moved into the new space.
