Pasadena-based sports bar franchise Dog Haus Biergarten is heading to Nashville this fall. Franchise owner Michael Deak will be opening his first location at 908 Main Street in East Nashville in the 3,600-square-foot space where now-closed Little Bites had a brief stint earlier this year.

Deak has lived in Williamson County for about a decade and has worked with other brands like Tropical Smoothie Cafe. He feels that Dog Haus will bring a new vibe and unique offerings to the Nashville area.

“There’s really nothing like it to me in Tennessee, period,” Deak told What Now Nashville.

The brand offers items like Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, wings, burgers, sausages, hot dogs and Hawaiian rolls. In addition, there will be 24 craft beers on tap.

Customers can expect an industrial-contemporary design with some Nashville flair sprinkled into the mix.

“As a franchise, it is not very cookie cutter,” Deak said. “You can go into every location, and it’ll be a little bit different. So we’re going to try to tie in some East Nashville vibes into the East Nashville store.”

The space will feature more than 20 TVs, and Deak is looking to bring live music to the location, as well. An 1,800-square-foot patio will complement the interior space.

Deak is expecting to open in East Nashville in late September or early October.

Dog Haus has a dominant presence on the West Coast, and Deak is one of the franchise owners bringing it to other regions of the country. Other franchisees include celebrity Jake Paul.

The franchise is in expansion mode across the country, with plans to open about 25 locations this year.
