Two years after acquiring The Valentine at 312 Broadway, Detroit-based hospitality group Elia Group closed the bar on Sept. 14 with plans for major renovations.
Slated to reopen in spring 2026, The Valentine revamp will include refreshes to the design while aiming to maintain the bar’s Nashville elements, according to a release. Customers can expect an elevated hospitality experience when doors reopen next year. There will also be a celebrity partner announced in early 2026.
“Nashville is a city with soul, and Elia Group is honored to continue becoming a part of its story,” Zaid Elia, founder and CEO of the Elia Group, said in the release. “Through the renovation of Valentine, we’re not just revitalizing a space — we’re investing in the local culture, the people and the energy that make this city unique. Our vision is to create welcoming destinations that serve as a reflection of the community and contribute meaningfully to its continued growth.”
Elia Group has been expanding in the Nashville area for the past couple years, with the acquisition of The Valentine serving as one of their first moves in the community. At the time, they announced plans to open multiple concepts. The group most recently opened ZuZu in Nashville in July.
As renovations at The Valentine take place, staff from The Valentine will transition to ZuZu.
