Ford Fry is set to bring his Mexican concept Little Rey “Al Carbon” to 2019 West End Avenue this spring, as previously reported by What Now Nashville. However, more could be on the way to the city from Fry’s restaurant group.

Fry already has multiple concepts in Nashville, including Superica, The Optimist, Le Loup and Star Rover Sound. Little Rey will mark the fifth Ford Fry concept in the city.

In the future, Fry is looking to expand in the city. He hopes to target the Franklin and Cool Springs neighborhoods with a concept, sharing with the Nashville Business Journal that he wants to bring upscale steakhouse Marcel to Nashville. However, he has not chosen any locations for further concepts yet.

Marcel currently has one location in Atlanta. It serves hors d’oeuvres like shrimp scampi and escargots, as well as high-end steak cuts like bone-in New York strip and porterhouse steaks.

Fry opened his first restaurant in Atlanta in 2007. Since then, his concepts have spread to other states, including Texas, North Carolina and Tennessee.

“I want to create restaurants that strike a timeless emotional chord. Restaurants that don’t pander to trend, but draw generations of families together,” the Ford Fry website states.
