Good Time Design is working with local commercial real estate firm Magnolia Investment Partners on a new concept for Midtown.

The two partnered to purchase the Hopsmith Tavern building at 1903 Division St., according to the Nashville Business Journal.

Hopsmith Tavern closed earlier this month after an eight-year run.

Details regarding the new concept remain unknown at this time, but Good Time Design is expected to share more information in the coming months about an entertainment and hospitality concept heading to the space.

Good Time Design, based in San Diego, has multiple Nashville concepts in its portfolio, including Coal Town Pizza, Sonny’s Patio Pub and Refuge and Cerveza Jack’s. It opened Sidecar Bar this past year, and another bar, Odie’s, is coming soon.

Ty Hauter launched the hospitality group in 2006 and first entered the Nashville market in 2016. What Now Nashville reached out to Hauter for more information on the concept heading to the Hopsmith Tavern space but did not receive further details before the time of publication.
